At Unicorn Academy Australia, our vision is to revive the timeless art of teaching—fusing the depth and discipline of traditional education with the inspiration and purpose of modern learning. We aim to nurture thoughtful, resilient learners through a wholistic approach that places Mathematics, Science, and English at the heart of intellectual and personal growth. In a fast-paced, tech-driven world, we choose depth over distraction, building minds that think, solve, and communicate with clarity and confidence.
Dr. Amitava Ghosh is a seasoned academic with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. After an extensive career as a university professor and researcher in India, where he supervised doctoral scholars and authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Ghosh migrated to Australia and has since established himself as a leading educator and academic entrepreneur. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master of Teaching (Secondary Science) from the University of South Australia, where he also completed successful teaching placements in South Australian public schools.  Dr. Ghosh has a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum, especially in Science, Mathematics, and SACE Stage 1 & 2, and has been actively teaching students across Adelaide through Unicorn Academy Australia, which he founded in 2021. His commitment to inquiry-based learning and academic excellence makes him a valuable contributor to the educational landscape of South Australia

Amir Salim has experience of over 20 years in professional practice in Oil and gas, financial institutions, vocational education, not for profit entities and SMEs. He has a strong entrepreneurial mindset and is involved in a couple of start-ups of his own. He has done a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide, which helps many of his clients in business planning and sustainability. He is a Chartered Accountant of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and also holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. His personal objective is to provide value added professional services to his clients, totally at their ease, that boost their freedom to achieve superior results.
